I received my BS degree in 1975 from North Carolina A&T State University in Business Administration with Accounting as a minor. My Montessori diploma was received in 2000: Birth to Three. I have worked with children, in some capacity, for the last 30 years. I, like Maria Montessori, began my road working with special children; the ones no one want to work with. My children at that time were labeled medically fragile. This was a part of my life for approximately fifteen years. The awesome part of that road is that it led me to Montessori. A philosophy that worked wonders for my babies. In 2003 I was ordained and founded Tabernacle of God Intl Ministries. I am truly convinced that I was placed in this world to serve.

My Montessori career began in the fall of 2007. After several years in banking I decided to pursue an interest in children and child development. I am currently enrolled in the Atlanta Montessori Teacher Education program where I will receive my Montessori Certification in the Infant/Toddler program. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. My goal is to get my Masters in education in the near future.

I received my AMI Diploma in May, 1977. My training was at the Montessori Institute of Atlanta, Georgia under the direction of Lilian Bryan and Nikki Hughes. Montessori was introduced to me by my sister Marie, who at that time was involved in the opening of the First Montessori Children’s House in Covington, Georgia. My BS was acquired at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama where I also taught their Primary Montessori class. I have had over 30 years of experience and it feels like yesterday….still loving it thru and thru.
Carine Greene
Ms. Greene is currently finishing up her AMI Assistants to Infancy Certification from The Montessori Institute in Denver. She holds a AMI Primary Certificate from The Montessori Training Center of New England. She received her B.S. from St. John University in New York.
Ms. Greene truly enjoys being in the classroom with the children. Her excitement and enthusiasm are contagious! When she’s not teaching and studying she can be found meditating; creating with way too many crafts; researching; and traveling the far reaches of the world. She loves most; traveling with her husband of ten years, Stephen whom she met and married while living in Hawaii. They enjoy spending time with their family their two intelligent and playful Maine Coon Cats, Booboo and Scoozie.
